Jersey City, NJ — Marianne Williamson, former progressive presidential candidate, has endorsed David Ocampo Grajales for New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District. “I’m proud to endorse @DavidOcampoNJ for NJ-08! He’s a fearless progressive taking on a machine and exactly the champion we need in Congress,” said Williamson tweeted and called on her millions of followers to help David Ocampo Grajales get to Congress.
With this endorsement, David joins an incredible list of progressive candidates such as Nina Turner, Melanie D'Arrigo, and Alexandra Hunt. “I am incredibly thankful to have the endorsement of Marianne Williamson for the Democratic primary in NJ-08,” said Ocampo Grajales. “Since her run for President, she has been a true leader, helping to build the progressive movement nationwide and I am honored to have her support.”
David Ocampo Grajales is running for Congress on a platform that includes support for progressive policies like affordable housing, Medicare for All, Green New Deal and many others. He has pledged to reject donations from fossil fuel, oil, big pharma, and corporate PACs, executives or lobbyists.
